I am an enormous fan of Sci-Fi literature. Some of my favorite authors are China Miéville and Iain M. Banks, both known for their wildly imaginative writing that borders on surreal. I created this little vignette to explore some ideas I've had for a narrative work of my own.
The 3D illustration I created for this was made in Oculus Medium and Cinema 4D. Medium is a VR voxel-based modeling program that I have found to be invaluable for expressive, organic sculpts.
